The majority of this week is devoted to the baseline CGA which is a district developed test.
Tuesday and Thursday are A day sessions 1 and 2. Wednesday and Friday are B day sessions 1 and 2. The pacing of some of the classes has gotten off due to the amount of time needed for directions and distributing materials. Each class will get back on track next week.
Most classes have begun tracking Cristobal. The classes that have not will receive the data and map they need during the next class period. Everyone should either look up the location on-line or watch the news for the location at least once each evening. A good source is NOAA at http://www.noaa.gov/.
Some classes had quick checks of their first book assignment (Fusion pp. 4-14). Anyone who did not meet success on the first assignment will get a second look - hopefully Thursday or Friday if time allows. If not, then definitely next week. If you already had a second look, you can have a third look (for just a little more off than a 2nd look).
Make sure you are registered at explorelearning.com. I hope to begin Gizmos as early as Tuesday (since Monday is a holiday).
Some classes received the newest Fusion assignment. Everyone will get it assigned by Friday so if you want to work on it you may. Read Fusion pp. 16 - 24. Do all of the questions except you must skip # 9, 13, 14, and 15.
Your Y diagram mini-poster was already due, so if it comes in late it will have a penalty unless you were absent when it was assigned. Check the earlier post for the video and the directions.
