Finishing up the grading period

Last week CUBE took a prominent place in your test taking skills vocabulary. Remember to use this skill for all tests including the FCAT.

C - Circle unfamiliar words or vocabulary
U - Underline important content
B - Box the question that you have to answer
E - Eliminate the incorrect responses and take a moment to Explain why the response you chose is the correct response.

Thursday and Friday found us revisiting the layers of the atmosphere and having a class debate about which layer of the atmosphere is the best layer.

Monday and Tuesday were Plate Tectonics review days. Not only a review lesson, but also a quiz about plate tectonics.

FCAT Review lesson notes were collected. Each person was responsible for submitting notes for 2 review lessons.

Your CGA score will be posted to the CGA/FCAT review section of the gradebook.

All LATE FCAT Explorer reports will be posted. Your score is penalized 10% for being late.

The bonus points will be posted. You will earn a point for each time you participated in the Tournament Earth 2014.

What's your home learning? Look at your bucket list (from CGA 3 data). With which benchmarks do you need the most help? Those are your low scores. Go to www.thinkcentral.org and log in. Use the 6th and 7th grade on-line books to help you review. Complete an on-line lesson each day and take notes.
