Assignments for 2/3 A day: Everything is due on Tuesday, 2/9.

Due to the majority of the next A day being committed to the high school field trip, many of you will not be in class on Friday. As a result, I have assigned the following and all are due on Tuesday, 2/9. Of course you had most of the period to work on these assignments today if your previous assignments were up to date. If you were absent you may stop by on Friday morning before Period 1A to pick up the appropriate worksheets. Of course, you may always print your own Gizmo packets.

Complete Brainpop quiz by logging onto www.braimpop.com  using palmbeach and palmbeach as the user name and password. Watch the video for Measuring Matter and take the quiz (on paper). You can get a sheet from the teacher. Check your answers by doing the review quiz.

Complete 2 Articles from the Science Page. You must do the following parts of A3K

·       Before Reading Poll- Record your choice on the back of the recording sheet

·       The Activity – use your record sheet

·       The AFTER Reading poll – Record your choice on the back of the recording sheet

·       The THOUGHT QUESTION – Write your response on the back of the recording sheet. Use complete sentences. Restate the question as a statement.  Support the statement with specifics from the text.

·       Check the results of the poll. Did you change your response after reading the article? Explain on the back of the recording sheet.

·       Complete all TABS except “Stretch and Stretch Activities”. Record this information on the  back of the recording sheet
