Science Project Proposal Checklist

There are quite a few activities that need to be completed in order to prepare to do a successful science project. Everything you do or think about should be recorded in your Science Project Data Log. All worksheets should be securely taped or glued into the SPDL. Use your SPDL as your journal. Include dates, times, people you spoke with, costs of materials, and photos of your work. Make sure you write all of your data by hand (in ink) into your SPDL. This is the most important resource to substantiate your work that you have. It must be complete.

Acceptable number of group members or repetitions is 10-25 except for seeds. Seeds should always be 100 or more in each group. Use this plan in your FORMAL PROPOSAL.
